THE CARNEGIE PARTNERS WITH ECHS FBLA

NEWNAN, Ga. February 2020
- The Newnan Carnegie Library is proud to partner with the East Coweta High School Future Business Leaders of America club to facilitate a mobile library at Watercrest Senior Living. The Newnan Carnegie Library will be providing books to the residents. "We are really excited about this project. The FBLA students are so enthusiastic and we are happy to provide books for residents to enjoy," said Carnegie Director, Susan Crutchfield.

The Future Business Leaders of America is a nonprofit student organization committed to preparing today's students for success in business leadership. FBLA is also an important partner in the success of school-to-work programs, business education curriculums, and student leadership development. FBLA's mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. The Future Business Leaders of America bring its mission to life through the application of our motto: Service, Education, and Progress.

The Newnan Carnegie Library in Newnan, GA is one of the most historically significant structures in downtown Newnan and was built in 1904. The Carnegie provides a central dynamic gathering place that serves residents of all ages and backgrounds as well as community organizations with a non-circulating reading room, children's area, and meeting spaces enhanced by an art gallery. It seeks to be an integral part of the community by offering print and electronic materials, services, and programs to adults and children to enrich daily lives.
